Rise in Losses and Fall in NAV of Mutual Funds of Prabhu Capital

"Prabhu Select Fund (PSF)" has unveiled its Net Asset Value (NAV) report for the month of Ashwin. It is a closed-end scheme with a maturity period of 7 years.
According to the financial report, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV stands at Rs. 9.65 as of Ashwin's end, 2080 which was Rs. 10.82 in the month before that.
The scheme which began with a total fund of Rs. 1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 73.49 crores in the listed shares and Rs. 57.73 lakhs in public issues, right shares, and bonus shares. This scheme has Rs. 15.23 crores in the bank balance. The scheme has Rs. 16.25 crores in fixed deposits and has invested Rs. 15.82 crores in bonds and debentures.
Prabhu Select Fund posted a net loss of Rs. 4.91 crores in the month of Ashwin. Its loss was Rs. 2.24 crores last month.
Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) had distributed a 9.50% cash dividend to its unitholders for the financial year 2079-80.
Similarly, "Prabhu Smart Fund (PRSF)" has published its Net Asset Value report for the month of Ashwin. It is a closed-end scheme with a maturity period of 10 years and has a fund size of Rs. 1 Arba.
The NAV decreased at Rs. 10.17 as of Ashwin's end, 2080 as compared with the NAV of the month before it was Rs. 10.45.
In Ashwin, the fund has invested Rs. 51.39 crore in the listed shares and Rs. 87.19 lakhs in public issues, right shares, and bonus shares. This scheme has Rs. 27.10 crores in the bank balance. The scheme has Rs. 14.70 crores in fixed deposits and has invested Rs. 7.68 crores in bonds and debentures.
The fund has posted a net loss of Rs. 3.57 Crores in the month of Ashwin. Its net loss of Rs. 76.14 lakhs last month.
