Royal Tulip to Debut in Kathmandu, Elevating Nepal's Luxury Hospitality Sector

In a significant advancement for Nepal's hospitality sector, Royal Tulip, part of the Louvre Hotels Group, is launching its first resort in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, developed by Classic View Resort Limited and managed by Sarovar Hotels.

This venture, led by Mr. Mukunda Raj Kunwar and Mr. Aashish Dhakal, marks a crucial step in enhancing Nepal's standing in the global luxury travel market. The resort, set on 26 ropani of land and just 30 minutes from Tribhuvan International Airport, will feature 75 elegantly designed rooms, a 500-seat banquet hall, a world-class spa, and wellness amenities, all with stunning views of the Himalayas.

With an investment of NPR 180 crore, the resort aims to provide a luxurious and serene escape for both local and international visitors. Ajay Bakaya, Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels, expressed excitement about entering Nepal's vibrant market, highlighting the country's natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The official signing ceremony for the resort is scheduled for tomorrow in New Delhi, reinforcing the group's expanding presence in South Asia. Both Kunwar and Dhakal emphasized their commitment to establishing Royal Tulip as a leading luxury destination, significantly contributing to Nepal's tourism growth.
