Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Net Profit Increases Slightly by 1.95% in Q1; Reserve Funds Stands at Rs. 17.2 Crores

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) has posted an incline in net profit by mere 1.95% in the first quarter (Q1) of the current FY 2079/80. The profit increased to Rs. 3.39 crores in this quarter from Rs. 3.33 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
RURU has sales revenue worth Rs. 5 crores, which has declined by 2.99% in this quarter.
The administrative expenses of the company has decreased by 8.28%, to stand at Rs. 28.10 lakhs for the first quarter of FY 79/80.
Its reserve fund stands at Rs. 17.2 crores with share capital at Rs 44.84 crores. Its annualized earnings per share stand at Rs. 30.31. The net worth per share at Rs 138.35.
Management Analysis:
The direct impact has been caused on electricity production due to occasional problems in 33 K.V. transmission line of NEA.
No incident or situation has been seen to adversely affect the financial condition of the company. However, problems in machinery equipment, floods, landslides, and natural disasters (out of control) can have an impact on business. In case of the other functions, they are going according to the business plan of the company.
