Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Submits Application To Electricity Development Department to Get the Power Generation License of Humla Projects

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) has submitted an application to the relevant authorities to conduct a Survey project of the Humla Karnali-1 hydroelectric project (235 Mega Watt) and Humla Karnali- 2 Hydropower Project (335 Mega Watt).

On Chaitra 5, 2079, at RURU’s registered office in Hattisar, Kathmandu, the meeting of the board of directors of the company and Karnali Water Power Pvt. Ltd. was held in accordance with the policy of the company to invest in other hydropower projects.

With mutual understanding and cooperation, it was discussed to study (survey) and invest in new projects, currently registered under the name Sichuan Wangping Energy Science and Technology Company Limited, Chengdu, China.

The decision has been made to name the survey permit of Humla in the name of Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited.

Likewise, the board of directors have decided to submit an application to the Electricity Development Department to get the power generation license of Humla projects to RURU.
