Sagarmatha Toastmasters Club Celebrates Milestone 100th Meeting
The 100th meeting of Sagarmatha Toastmasters Club, the world's first Toastmasters Club in Nepali, was held grandly at Yellow Pagoda Hotel in Kathmandu on Shrawan 4, 2081. Key speakers included Toastmasters International District 41 Director Man Pradhan and actress Niti Shah. The meeting was chaired by club president Adhyat Subedi and conducted by outgoing president Samir Upadhyay.
A panel discussion on the importance of the Nepali language featured Anil Keshari Shah, Sharachchandra Basti, Sarita Shree Gyawali, and Madan Lamsal, with Kamal KC facilitating. Speakers emphasized the need to preserve Nepali language and culture. Sagarmatha Toastmasters Club, established on Baisakh 1, 2079, aims to enhance communication and leadership skills in Nepali.
