Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Calls AGM on Chaitra 11 to Endorse 18% Dividend and Merger Related Agendas

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has called its 9th AGM on 11th Chaitra, 2079. The meeting will be held in Himalaya Drishya Resort, Dhulikhel, starting at 11:30 AM that day.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse an 18% dividend worth Rs. 6.16 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79. The 138th meeting of the board of directors held on Magh 20 decided to distribute an 18% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. 15% bonus shares and a 3% cash dividend have been proposed from the paid-up capital of Rs. 34.27 Crores. Thus, the bonus shares are worth slightly over Rs. 5.14 crore and the cash dividends are worth Rs 1.02 crore.
Furthermore, the AGM will pass a resolution regarding evaluating and endorsing the Due Diligence Audit, Memorandum of Understanding, and endorse a share swap ratio for the merger between Samata Gharelu Laghubitta & Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBBL). The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the merger between SMATA and SLBBL was signed on Poush 18.
The book closure date is on Chaitra 01. Therefore, the shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to dividend payout and can attend this AGM.
