Sanima Equity Fund Nears Maturity: Request for Delisting Submitted

Sanima Bank Limited, as the fund promoter, and Sanima Capital Limited, as the fund manager and depository, have announced the impending maturity and delisting of the Sanima Equity Fund, a 7-year closed-end scheme under the Sanima Mutual Fund. The scheme, comprising 130 million units with a face value of Rs. 10 per unit, is set to mature on 10th Poush 2081.

As per Clause 8.8 of the prospectus approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and Clause 31 (1) (a) of Chapter 7 of the Mutual Fund Regulations, 2067, the scheme is required to undergo liquidation upon reaching its maturity. Additionally, Clause 31 (8) of the same regulations mandates that an application for delisting be submitted to the securities market at least one month prior to the maturity date.

In compliance with these regulations, a formal request has been submitted to delist the Sanima Equity Fund and cease trading of its units in the securities market after Poush 10, 2081.
