Sanima GIC Insurance Successfully Conducted 6th AGM

The 6th Annual General Meeting of Sanima GIC Insurance Limited (SGIC) convened under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Kunal Kayal. The meeting, held at Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Dillibazar, Kathmandu, reviewed the annual report for the fiscal year 2079/080.

The financial statement, prepared by the Nepal Financial Reporting Standard (NFRS), received unanimous approval. Additionally, the appointment of N. Amatya & Company, Chartered Accountants, as the company's auditors for the upcoming fiscal year 2080/081 was unanimously ratified.

The meeting also sanctioned the appointment of an independent director nominated by the board of directors. Furthermore, it approved the issuance of rights shares worth 50 crores, amounting to 25% of the company's paid-up capital of Rs. 2 Arba.

The meeting unanimously passed a proposal to endorse the expenditure incurred in 2079/080, complying with section 105 of the Companies Act. The company reiterated its commitment to bolstering the national economy through business expansion and enhanced customer service.

Chairman Mr. Kayal concluded the meeting with heartfelt gratitude to shareholders, dignitaries, and dedicated employees in attendance.
