Santosh Narayan Shrestha Appointed as Chairman of SEBON

The Cabinet meeting held on Monday has appointed Santosh Narayan Shrestha as the Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
Shrestha, who has a professional background, previously served as a board member of the Nepal Electricity Authority. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies (MBS).
The position of SEBON's chairman had remained vacant since Poush 20, 2080. With this appointment, it is anticipated that the board's leadership and operational efficiency will significantly improve.
