SEBON Approves Debenture Issue: "Civil Bank Ltd.(9%, 10 years, Civil Bank Debenture 2088)"

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has granted approval to Civil Bank to issue its debenture.

The commercial bank had proposed to issue the "Civil Bank Ltd.(9%, 10 years, Civil Bank Debenture 2088)". The debenture has 30 lakhs total registered units. 12 lakh units will be opened for the public issue and 18 lakhs will be subscribed via private placement.

As the name suggests, the "Civil Bank Ltd.(9%, 10 years, Civil Bank Debenture 2088)" will have a maturity period of 10 years, hence maturing in the year 2088 BS. Similarly, the debenture will yield 9% annual returns to unitholders.

Laxmi Capital has been appointed the issue manager. SEBON granted approval to the proposal on Ashoj 24.
