SEBON Awards Securities Brokerage Licenses to Three More Companies

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has issued three additional brokerage licenses.
During a meeting held on Shrawan 24, the board made the decision to grant licenses to three companies: J.B.N.L Securities Limited, RBB Securities Company Limited, and C.B.I.L Securities Limited. These licenses fall within the limited stock brokerage category.
The licenses were granted following the fulfillment of infrastructural prerequisites in accordance with the Securities Dealers (Stock Broker, Securities Dealer, and Market Maker) Regulations, 2064 (2008).
These companies must now apply for membership at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and subsequently seek a Depository Participant (DP) License from CDS and Clearing (CDSC) Limited.
With this development, 32 companies have received final license from SEBON.
