SEBON gets the new Chairman; Bhisma Raj Dhungana selected from the top three

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has appointed Bhisma Raj Dhungana as the Chairman. The selection was made by the Council of Ministers that tabled on the discussion on Monday Poush 21, 2076. Mr. Dhungana has been appointed for a tenure of 4 years.
The three candidates that had been shortlisted were Bhismaraj Dhungana, Niraj Giri and Dr. Keshav Prasad Shrestha.
Mr. Dhungana has MA. Economics degree from Tribhuvan University and MBA in Business Finance from Britain. Prior to this position, he was engaged in SEBON as the Expert Director. He began his career from Rastriya Banijya Bank and joined NRB. There he gathered experience of 30 years finally taking compulsory retirement.
