SEBON rolls out Commodities Market Regulation

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has implemented regulations for commodity market under Commodity Act, 2074 on Bhadra 11, 2074 after approval from Nepal Government. It was officially implemented from 9th Mangsir, 2074, 91 days after formulation of the law.
In order to develop and regulate commodity market with the purpose of investor’s safety, commodity transactions, clearing and settlement, warehouse operation, Nepal Government introduced laws for commodity market.
