The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has officially declared a vacant position for the Chairman, inviting qualified and competent individuals to apply for the role. Interested candidates have to submit their applications by Falgun 30, 2080.
1. Required Qualifications and Experience:
a) The candidate must possess a postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
b) A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the stock market, finance, commerce, management, or law is required.
c) Nepali citizenship and a strong moral character are essential.
d) The candidate should not have been convicted of corruption, money laundering, human trafficking, illegal drug trade, archaeological artifact-related crimes, or moral degradation.
e) The age of the candidate should be between 30 to 65 years as per the prevailing laws.
2. Application Process and Documents:
Interested candidates can find detailed information and the application form on the SEBON official website (www.sebon.gov.np).
Along with the application, candidates need to submit a cover letter, a recent passport-sized photo, and necessary documents supporting their qualifications.
Completed applications should be submitted within 15 days from the publication date to the Securities Board of Nepal, Head Office, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
3. Application Fee:
A non-refundable application fee of NPR 5,000 (Five Thousand Rupees only) should be deposited in the bank account mentioned in the official notice.
4. Remuneration:
The selected Chairman will be entitled to a monthly salary, allowances, and other benefits as per the rules and regulations of the Securities Board of Nepal.

The Securities Board reserves the right to cancel or reject any application without providing reasons. Applicants are advised to provide accurate information, and any false documents will result in the cancellation of the application and legal consequences.
