The National Examination Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations (Class 10), has announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). Out of the 464,785 students who participated in the examination, only 47.86% have passed, with 186 students achieving a 4 GPA.

According to the published results, 242,292 students will be allowed to study in class 11, while 52.14% of the examinees received a non-grade (NG).

This year's results were published following the Letter Grading Guide, 2078, which evaluates theoretical and internal marks separately. Students must score a minimum of 35% in each subject's theoretical exam to pass. Specifically, for a theoretical exam worth 75 marks, students need at least 26.25 marks, and for an internal exam worth 25 marks, a minimum of 10 marks is required.

Students who fail to achieve the minimum 35% in the theoretical exam will receive an NG on their certificate and will not be allowed to advance to class 11 without passing a grade enhancement test. Moreover, students must score at least 10 points internally and 26.25 points theoretically to receive their original certificate. However, they can take grade enhancement exams in two subjects if they fail to meet the minimum marks.

Candidates who fail to secure 35% in more than two subjects and do not meet the required marks even after taking the grade enhancement exam will be allowed to retake the exam only in the subjects with NG the following year.

The SEE exam was conducted from Chaitra 15 to Chaitra 27, 2080.
