See the performance of the 18 Life Insurance companies till Baisakh end

Till the end of Baisakh 2075, 18 life insurance companies have registered huge collection of over Rs 35.25 arba which includes the collection of Rs 3.59 arba for the month of Baisakh, 2075.

The life insurance companies have collected Rs 2.49 arba as insurance premium form foreign employment and the remaining Rs 32.83 arba was collected as premium from other life insurance schemes. The figure of insurance premium from foreign employment till Chaitra 2074 stood at Rs 2.15 arba and the figure of insurance premium from other insurance schemes stood at Rs 29.50 arba.

Till Baisakh end, 18,440 claims were made out of which payment was made for 17,086 claims. The payments made for the claims was made for over Rs 2.73 arba. For 1,372 claims, total amount of Rs 41.63 crore has not been paid.

The companies have managed to issue 48,68,397 life insurance policies which includes 1,46,835 policies issued in the month of Baisakh. The policies include 18,64,598 policies from the foreign employment and the remaining policies have been issued to the other insurance policies.

The total paid up capital of 18 life insurance companies amount to Rs 22.21 arba with bank deposits of Rs 2.29 arba.

The insurance companies have extended 989 branches where 3,234 employees have been engaged in the services.
