Share Trading of Manakamana Smart and Samata Laghubitta Suspended for Joint Integrated Transaction

In a significant development, Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB), listed on the Stock Exchange Limited, has been successfully acquired by Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA). According to a letter dated 2081/03/14 from Mankamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, the acquisition process has been completed, effective from 2081/03/24.

The acquisition follows the receipt of a letter of intent to commence consolidation under the name of the financial institution limited. As per the Directive on Merger and Acquisition of Securities Registered Institutions, Section 9(3) of 2079, the transaction was carried out following regulatory provisions. The swap ratio is fixed at 1: 1.

The operations of Mankamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited will now be integrated into Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, marking a significant consolidation in the financial sector.

As of writing MKLB closed at Rs. 1,169.00 and SMATA closed at Rs. 971.00.
