Sharesansar conducts 2-day training for technical analysis at Kathmandu University School of Management

Sharesansar conducted a 2 day technical analysis of stock market training at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), Balkumari, Lalitpur.

Sagun Shakya, MD of Sharesansar, provided the training beginning from how technical analysis different from fundamental analysis. Similary, the session covered important aspects of technical analysis such as, Mechanics and Dynamics of Trend, Candlestick Analysis, Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Averages, Oscillators and Divergence and so on.

Ram Raj Ronil Sharma, Co-ordinator of KUSOM Finance club says, "This was an amazing experience. We got a first-hand opportunity to learn what Technical Anaysis is and how it works. In Nepal, we don't normally see the culture of investing rationally and I think this is the first step to moving towards a greater understanding of how we can be rational investors. Being in Finance Club I already knew a few things about the market, but many attendees weren't aware and I feel like the training really contributed in their orientation. I also had a brief feedback session from the participats and some even said that they will start to invest in the stock market. So, this training was really helpful and has surely created an impact in all those who participated."

A total of 35 participants were present in the program including students from BBA, MPHIL, MBA and lecturers.
