Shivam Cements Q1: Sales Revenue Decline Whereas Net Profit Rises by 31.94%; EPS Stands at Rs 24.98

Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) has published its first-quarter report of the fiscal year 2079/2080 with an incline in net profit by 31.94 %. The Net Profit of the company inclined to Rs. 27.47 crores in Q1, 2079/2080 from Rs. 20.82 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The Sales revenue (core business revenue) of the company declined by 30.46% in the first quarter which stood at Rs. 1.53 Arba from Rs. 2.20 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Whereas, the other income of the company has increased significantly to stand at Rs. 31.34 Crores, which was Rs. 93.60 Lakhs in the relevant period of the previous year. The expenses for this period have also decreased by 20.03%
As per the first-quarter report published today, the company has an investment of Rs. 4.47 Arba.
The paid-up capital of the company remained at Rs. 4.40 Arba with 4.15 Arba as retained earnings. The company has Rs 95.62 crores as a share premium.
The annualized earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs. 24.98 and the net worth per share at Rs. 216.09. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 25.68 times.
