Shivashree Hydropower Ltd (SSHL) Reported Its Q1 Report With A Net Loss Of Rs. 3.48 Crores

Shivashree Hydropower Ltd (SSHL) has published its first-quarter unaudited report with a net loss of Rs.3.48 crores for the fiscal year 2079/80. The hydropower sold electricity worth Rs. 15.50 crores. However, the company did not attain other incomes for this period.
Despite having revenue from sales of electricity, the company is still procuring losses because of its huge finance cost which mainly is due to the interest payable by the company for paying off its loan.
The reserve and surplus stand at negative of Rs. 57.30 crores with share capital at Rs 1.47 Arba. At this capital, the earnings per share of the company are negative 2.36 and the net worth per share stands at Rs 61.19.
Managerial analysis: During the first quarter, there is no significant change in the company's financial position and liquidity, and operations are being carried out in accordance with the company's business plan. Upper Chaku A Hydroelectric Project (22.2 M.W) built by this company in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok District has been producing electricity since 2078.
