Siddhartha Bank Hosts 'Walk for Water, Walk for Life' on World Water Day

Siddhartha Bank organized its first-ever 'Walk for Water, Walk for Life' event on World Water Day, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of water. The bank, committed to sustainable development, follows environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and promotes green finance, responsible banking, and renewable energy.

The event, attended by 656 participants, emphasized the need for sustainable water management to avoid future water shortages. The walk spanned 5 km, covering major areas of Kathmandu. The theme of this year’s World Water Day, "Glacier Preservation," was highlighted by the bank’s CEO, emphasizing the importance of protecting glaciers for water resources.
