Silver coins of Rs 1000 released into market; Lalit trade fair going on with boom

With special assistance from Nepal Rastra Bank, Lalitpur FNCCI amidst its celebration of 50th anniversary has brought into market silver coin worth Rs 1000 baring emblem of 50th anniversary on Chaitra 1, 2074. Apart from silver coin, it has also brought into use new coin of Rs 1 baring inscription of historical stone tap of Mangal Bazar from the same event. The emblem has been designed by senior artist Mr. BatsagopalBaidhya, as per the press statement.
The second day of ongoing international Lalit trade exhibition has been observed with lot of events including the felicitation of more than 100 elderly people who are aged 88 years and above. Governor of NRB Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, living literary and historian legend Mr. Satya Mohan Joshi, chairman of Lalitpur FNCCI Mr. Krishnalal Maharjan among other were present in the event.
