Singha Durbar Introduces Smart Gate Pass for Enhanced Entry Management

Singha Durbar, the nucleus of administrative activity in the nation, is embracing a modern and user-friendly approach to entry management. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has unveiled a novel online entry pass system named the Singhadurbar Smart Gate Pass to facilitate this endeavor.

Commencing today, a trial phase of the e-gate pass system is being initiated for individuals accessing the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) premises. This initiative is geared towards simplifying entry procedures and augmenting convenience for visitors traversing Singha Durbar's thresholds.

As elucidated by Home Ministry Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, individuals can seamlessly request an e-gate pass embedded with a unique QR code through a dedicated online portal.

Upon verification and approval by the MoHA, applicants will be furnished with the e-gate pass, which shall serve as their requisite credentials for entry into Singha Durbar.

Interested parties may acquire the e-gate pass by accessing the designated website 'singhadurbarpass.gov.np'.

Following the trial phase, the ambit of the e-gate pass system is slated for expansion to encompass all ministries and agencies housed within Singha Durbar, in alignment with the strategic directives outlined by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
