Smata Gharelu Laghubitta Proposes 5.7076% Dividend for FY 2079/80; Plans to Issue FPO

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has proposed a 5.7076% dividend worth Rs. 2.24 Crores for the fiscal year 2079/80.
The 150th board of directors meeting on Mangsir 24 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 39.41 Crores. 5.4222% bonus shares worth Rs. 2.13 Crores and 0.2854% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth Rs. 11.24 Lakhs have been proposed.
The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
The company plans to issue FPO amounting to Rs. 3,32,85,600 to establish a 70:30 founder-general share ratio. If shares align with this ratio before the Annual General Meeting, adjusted shareholders will also receive the proposed dividend, as stated by the company.
As of writing, SMATA has an LTP of Rs. 657.
