Social Security Scheme secures people's life: Minister Bista

Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, has said that a base to secure the life of people has been built along with implementation of Social Security Scheme.

At an interaction organised by the newly established Office of Labour and Employment, Surkhet here Wednesday, Minister Bista said that the social security scheme has build a policy-level and legal base for long-term life security of the people. "A new era ensuring the different rights including food, employment, education, health and residence has begun", he said.

The Labour Minister further said that the government would provide employment to millions of people under Prime Minister Employment Programme and it would also bring a programme of providing social justice to the citizens even after giving subsistence allowance.
