Solar Farm Limited Calls AGM on Poush 28, Major Agenda To Issue IPO

Solar Farm Limited has called its 5th AGM on 28th Poush, 2080. The meeting will be held in the Hotel Mala, Lakeside, Pokhara, Gandaki, Nepal, starting at 2:00 p.m. that day.

Among the other agendas, there is an agenda for issuing ordinary shares to the general public.

Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports, and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81. There is an agenda to approve the appointment of directors, dividend distribution, and find the appropriate company for merger and acquisition.

CARE Ratings Nepal Limited (CRNL) has assigned the issuer rating of ‘CARE-NP BB+ (Is)’ to Solar Farm Limited (SFL). Issuers with this rating are considered to offer moderate risk of default regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, in Nepal.

Solar Farm Limited (SFL) is a public limited company, incorporated on September 16, 2016, as a private limited company and converted into a public limited company on January 05, 2023. SFL is involved in the operation of the 5 MW Belchauara solar power project (BSPP) in Belchautara, Suklagandaki Municipality 05, Tanahau. The power from the solar power project is evacuated from the 0.5 km 33 kv transmission line to the Khairanitar substation which is further connected to the national grid.
