SPG Automobiles Initiates "Nepal Scores, Omoda Grows" Campaign with Massive Tree Planting Effort
SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda in Nepal, initiated an afforestation campaign called "Nepal Scores Omoda Grows" during the T20 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024. On July 20, 2024, they planted 3,000 trees in collaboration with the Dollu Community at Dakshinkali.
This initiative, part of Omoda's vision for a greener future, aims to reforest areas in Dakshinkali and Ilam, with 1,500 trees each and supports the conservation of endangered species like the Red Panda in partnership with the Red Panda Network.
The campaign seeks to mitigate air pollution in Kathmandu and promote sustainable afforestation. The event was attended by the Mayor of Dakshinkali Municipality, Mr. Mohan Basnet, local community members, and Omoda customers.
