Standard Chartered Bank Unveils Book Closure Date for its 25.5% Dividend; Calls AGM on Mangsir 25

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited(SCB) has called its 38th AGM on Tuesday, 25th Mangsir, 2081 (10th December 2024). The meeting will be held at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting from 9:30 AM that day.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 25.5% dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81. The 464th meeting of the Board of Directors of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) held on 29th October 2024 at 4:30 PM has decided to propose a 6.5% bonus shares and 19% cash dividend (inclusive of tax) for the Fiscal Year 2080/81, subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of the Bank.
Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, balance sheet for the year ended in mid-2081, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2080/81 and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82. The agenda about the revision of the Articles of Association will also be approved during the meeting. If any change is suggested by the regulatory body or office in the proposed amendment of the articles, then the board of directors should be authorized to make the necessary changes accordingly.
The book closure date is on 6th Mangsir, 2081. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
