Standard Chartered Bank Unveils Q4 Report with Overall Improvements Across Financial Indicators; Net Profits at Rs. 3.52 Arba

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) has published its fourth quarter report for the recently concluded financial year 2079-80, with an impressive increase of 56.27 percent in its Net profit. The commercial bank has made Rs. 3.52 Arba in Net profits up to the last quarter of the past financial year.
Both the Net Interest Income and Operating profit of the company have increased significantly by 60.28 and 55.79 percent, respectively. As of FY 2079-80’s end, the bank has made almost Rs. 6 Arba in core business revenue, while up to the same period, the accumulated Operating profits stand at Rs. 5.04 Arba.
However, the bank has incurred a massive spike in its impairment allocation amounting to Rs. 59.83 crores up to the end of FY 2079-80.
The distributable profit of the bank available for distribution amongst its shareholders stands at Rs. 2.73 Arba, while its distributable profit per share is Rs. 29.
The Earnings per Share (EPS) ratio of the bank stands at Rs. 37.39, alongside a Net worth per Share of Rs. 213.98.
The commercial bank maintains Rs. 9.42 Arba in paid-up capital, while it has Rs. 10.74 Arba in reserves and surplus.
