Start up receives one lakh in prize money; workshop organized by Nepalese Scientfic Associationi Switzerland

A start up concept of a kit that helps find adulteration in milk and zero energy cold storage have won a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 each.

The prizes were presented in the third edition of the ‘Swiss Nepal Technology Transfer’ workshop 2019 held in Kathmandu on Friday. The workshop was organized by Nepalese Scientific Association Switzerland (NEPSAS), an organization of Nepalis studying and working in Switzerland.

A total of 80 competitors had been selected from among more than 500 applicants for the prize. NEPSAS has been promoting start up based on science and technology in the country.
