Sun Nepal Life Insurance Celebrates 7th Anniversary with New Insurance Plans and Social Initiatives

Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited celebrated its 7th anniversary by launching two new insurance Schemes: Sunlife Medicare and Sunaulo Bal Sambriddha Jeevan Bima Yojana. Sunlife Medicare is designed for emergency medical treatments, offering up to NPR 1 lakh in hospital coverage, and is the first of its kind in Nepal.

The Sunaulo Bal Sambriddha Jeevan Bima Yojana ensures financial security by providing monthly income benefits of up to 2% of the sum assured in case of the proposer’s death during the policy term, with up to NPR 50 lakh covered for treatment of life-threatening diseases.

To mark its anniversary, the company organized week-long events under the theme "7 Years 7 Provinces 7 Days 7 Good Deeds," which included activities like tree planting, food and clothing distribution, temple cleaning, blood donation, and financial literacy workshops.

They also released a CSR-focused video on foreign employment awareness. Sun Nepal Life further obtained ISO 27001 certification for information security management, with plans to integrate the system into its operations.

The company also expressed its gratitude to its stakeholders and employees, while reaffirming its commitment to providing accessible and customer-friendly insurance services in the future.
