Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Successfully Conducted 7th AGM

The Seventh Annual General Meeting of Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SNLI) took place on Wednesday, 2081/02/09 at Amritbhog Catering, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu.

The chairman presented the annual report for the financial year 2079/80, including the balance sheet, profit and loss account, change in equity, and cash flow statement. A distributable profit of Rs. 3,20,00,00,000/- was allocated, with 23.80% (Rs. 76,16,00,000/-) issued as bonus shares.

The meeting approved a special proposal for cash dividend distribution and elected Sneha Sharma as a director. An external auditor was appointed as recommended by the audit committee. Bonus shares worth Rs. 76,16,00,000/- were issued, with Rs. 3,96,16,00,000/- maintained as receipts.

Rights shares were proposed to address insufficient shares. A special resolution was passed to amend the company's charter and regulations. The chairman expressed confidence in the company's stability and commitment to growth amidst future economic activities.
