Surendra Raj Regmi Assumes Office as New CEO of Global IME Bank Limited

Surendra Raj Regmi has officially assumed his role as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global IME Bank Limited. Before taking office, Regmi took the oath of office and confidentiality from the bank's chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal.

With over 35 years of experience in the banking sector, including key roles in credit management, risk control, and branch operations, Regmi is expected to strengthen the bank’s services and market presence. He holds a master's degree in economics from Tribhuvan University and an MBA from the University of Wales, UK.

Regmi expressed pride and a sense of responsibility in leading the country's largest bank and is committed to enhancing customer service, expanding the bank's business, and providing strong returns to investors. Chairman Dhakal expressed confidence that Regmi's leadership will strengthen the bank and improve service delivery.
