SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Calls AGM On 4th Jestha With These Agendas; When's the Book Closure?

SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC) has called its 15th AGM on 4th Jestha, 2080. The meeting will be held in Hotel Harrison Palace, Biratnagar, starting at 10 AM that day.

These are the agendas of the AGM:

1) Endorsement of financial reports for the fiscal year 2078/79.
2) Endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports.
3) Endorse the appointment of the auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80.
4) Elect three directors each from the promoter shareholding group and the public shareholding group.
5) Elect an independent director.
6) Provide full authority to the board of directors to oversee any necessary amendments of the Articles of Association accordingly if any instructions are received from the regulatory bodies.
7) Approve the expenses incurred under Corporate Social Responsibility of Former Surya Life Insurance Limited and Former Jyoti Life Insurance.
8) Misc.

Baisakh 21 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day can attend the AGM.
