Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta (SWMF) Proposes 15% Bonus Dividend for Fiscal Year 2078/79

From the 202nd meeting of the Board of Directors of Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWMF) on Falgun 16, the company has decided to distribute a dividend of 15% for the fiscal year 2078/79.

The current paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 79.19 Crores. From the paid up capital, the company has proposed 15% bonus dividend worth Rs. 11.87 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79.

The financial statement will be submitted to Nepal Rastra Bank for approval and the proposed dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Annual General Meeting of the company.

The former Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SLBS) and Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (WOMI) successfully merged, and as of the 19th Chaitra of 2078, the company have started operating as Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWMF). Since the companies merger prevented a separate amount from being set aside for tax purposes, shareholders who bought shares after the integrated transaction are now responsible for paying the sum in accordance with the dividend tax regulations.
