Techspire Startup and Idea Fest 2024: A Grand Celebration of Innovation and Technology

The Techspire Startup and Idea Fest 2024 concluded successfully on October 30th at Anupam Foodland, Battisputli, Kathmandu, drawing over 15,000 attendees across two days. The event featured more than 100 digital startups and innovators from all seven provinces, showcasing advancements in digital innovation, STEAM education, and robotics. Key attractions included a STEAM Camp, Rocket Science Exhibition, and Robo Soccer, which captivated audiences.

In the Robo Soccer competition, Team The Ruling Bees of Techspire College won the championship, earning NPR 10,000, while Team Turbo X of UniGlobal College secured the runner-up position with NPR 5,000. The tournament, managed by Engineering Vlogs, saw 16 teams competing.

Distinguished guests such as Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, Member of Parliament Dr. Chandra Bhandari, and other officials attended, promoting youth innovation.

The fest displayed 30+ startups from the provinces, alongside ICITY Award 2024 finalists in categories like rising stars, social innovation, and product excellence. The event, organized as a prelude to the ICITY Awards grand finale on January 5th, 2024, facilitated networking, investment, and mentorship for digital innovators.

Sponsors and collaborators, including Ncell Foundation, Smarten Technologies, Kantipur TV, and various educational institutions and government bodies, contributed to bridging the digital divide and fostering innovation.
