The Thai Airways International, the national flag carrier of Thailand, has resumed its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights from Sunday.

The airline suspended its Kathmandu-Bangkok flights on March 25, 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic.

General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Pratap Babu Tiwari confirmed that Thai Airways International restarted its flights. Likewise, the flights of Thai Smile stopped its flight to Kathmandu from today itself.

Thai Airways International began its service in Nepal in December 1968.

The TIA Office has said that Nepal's international flights reached the pre-COVID-19 status.
