"The Biggest Mehendi Bhela: Shrawan Mela 2081" was a two-day event held on August 2nd and 3rd at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg, organized by Classics Projects to celebrate the sacred month of Shrawan.
The event, attended by over 2,000 people, aimed to bring together men and women from different communities while honoring traditional Shrawan rituals. The mela featured a large Shiva Linga, vegetarian food stalls, and a no-alcohol policy, promoting the holiness of the month.
Inaugurated by former Miss Nepal Ishani Shrestha, the event included vibrant décor, photo booths, and over 10 Mehendi artists, highlighting the cultural significance of henna in Shrawan.
With 36 stalls offering ethnic wear, jewelry, and accessories, the event beautifully encapsulated Nepalese-Hindu culture, tradition, and spirituality.
