Third consecutive day of loss leaves NEPSE at 1131.97 points; NMB stock trade make up 30% of total turnover

The market today lost for the third consecutive day, losing 0.53% or 6.05 points. NEPSE closed for the week at 1131.97 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.37.41 Crore achieved through trade of 1,296,877 units of shares traded through 5,048 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) went on to dominate the trade after trading resumed today. The bank posted a massive turnover of Rs.11.26 Crore, making 30.11% of today’s turnover. A total of 328,151 units of shares were traded. The LTP stood at Rs.347 per share.
Salt Trading Corporation (STC) hit the positive circuit today as well, gaining 9.96% or 72 points. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.795 per share. Ridi Hydropower (RHPC) was today’s top loser after losing 5.19% or 4 points, closing at Rs.73 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 1.40 points and closed at 248.31 points while Float Index lost 0.46 points and closed at 83.94 points.
Trading, Non-Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
