Three injured, four dozens houses damaged by storm

Three persons were injured, and approximately four dozen houses destroyed in a storm in the district on Thursday night. Electricity, internet and telephone services have shut due to the storm that lasted around one hour and affected Rajapur, Barbardiya, Madhuban and Basgadhi municipalities and Geruwa rural municipalities the most.

The injured--Anu Tharu of Rajapur municipality-2, Sunita BK and her five-year-old son Narayan of Basgadhi municipality--were receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical College in Banke, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Madanjit Mahara. Exact details of the loss is yet to come by, he said.
