Thulo Khola Hydropower Holds AGM, Approves IPO and Expansion Plans

Thulo Khola Hydropower Limited successfully conducted its second Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Kalimati Banquet, Kathmandu, under the chairmanship of Narendra Ballabh Pant. The AGM approved the proposal to issue 1.1 million shares via an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Young energy entrepreneur Dhiraj Karki was elected as a board member during the meeting. Additionally, shareholders discussed and passed the annual report for FY 2080/81, the audited financial statements, and appointed an auditor for FY 2081/82. Decisions made by the board were also endorsed.
The AGM determined board members' allowances and authorized the board to explore and invest in new projects. It also approved amendments to the company's memorandum and articles of association.
Thulo Khola Hydropower is constructing the 22.5 MW Upper Thulo Khola A Hydropower Project in Raghu Ganga Rural Municipality-8, Myagdi District. The project is slated for completion by Baisakh 2082, according to Chairman Pant.
