Today’s market volatility leaves NEPSE Index at low of 1109.16 points; promoter shares of two banks traded in huge amounts

The market lost 0.08% or 0.91 point after a volatile run today. The benchmark index closed at 1109.16 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.29.58 Crore achieved through trade of 1,134,015 units of shares traded through 3,841 transactions trading scrips of 165 listed companies in the process.
Promoter shares of Nepal Investment Bank (NIBPO) posted the highest turnover at Rs.5.81 Crore with LTP at Rs.384 per share. Promoter shares of Citizens Bank (CZBILP) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 240,524 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.159 per share.
Salt Trading Corporation (STC) gets back on gaining track after gaining 6% or 81 points, closing at Rs.1430 per share. Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.66% or 3 points and closed at Rs.50 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 245.49 points while Float Index lost 0.02 points and closed at 82.55 points.
Banking, Trading and Hydropower were among gaining sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
