Three microfinance companies have signed a merger agreement with each other on Ashwin 09.

They are Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL), CYC Nepal Laghubitta (CYC), and Shaligram Laghubitta (SHALIGRAM).

The chairman of the three companies signed a tri-party agreement with each other. Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta has its central office in Kavrepalanchowk, while the other two have their offices in Baglung and Myagdi.

While Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta and CYC Nepal Laghubitta are established at the national level, Shaligram Laghubitta operates in 11 districts of the Gandaki province.

After the merger, their combined paid-up capital will exceed Rs. 35.02 crores. While Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta has already issued an IPO to the public, the latter two companies' public investment will be fulfilled via Further Public Offerings (FPO).

Thus, Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL)'s trading will be halted from today in NEPSE in response to the merger agreement.
