Trading in securities of Swabalamban Laghubitta halted until further notice; NEPSE publishes a notice

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has published notice regarding halt in trading of securities of Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL).

As per the notice, the company received a letter from the office of the company registrar to increase the capital on Falgun 13, 2076. However, NEPSE was informed about the same on Falgun 16, 2076. This led to uncertainty of the company to issue 26% bonus shares to the shareholders as proposed by the BOD.

Due to this, NEPSE has halted trading in the securities of the company until it is established that the company did not intend to influence the value of the stocks. NEPSE has also asked the company to clarify the same within three working days.
