Tripartite Memorandum Signed to Facilitate Educational Loans for Nepali Students Pursuing Higher Education in Japan
A tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Global IME Bank Limited, IME Limited, and the Japanese Language School Association of Nepal (JALSAN) to facilitate educational loans for students aspiring to pursue higher education in Japan. The agreement was signed by Suman Pokharel, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank, Khilendra Paudel, Chief Executive Officer of IME Limited, and Ramesh Devkota, President of JALSAN.
Under this agreement, Global IME Bank will provide necessary educational loans to students recommended by JALSAN for higher education in various Japanese universities. These loans aim to assist students in managing their finances for studying abroad. Students and their parents, after receiving recommendations from JALSAN, can apply for loans at any branch of Global IME Bank with the required documents.
IME Limited will coordinate with banks and financial institutions to facilitate the payment of college fees, visa fees, and other necessary expenses. Additionally, IME Limited will enable students to remit money easily from Japan to Nepal once they have moved for their studies.
