Turnover amount still bleak as market loses minimal points; stocks of Prabhu Bank retain popularity among investors

The market today lost 0.12% or 1.33 points and closed at 1132.40 points. The turnover amount remains at bleak Rs.16.43 Crore achieved through trade of 608,601 units of shares. The market saw 3,425 transactions trading scrips of 145 listed companies in the process.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) continues to dominate trade with turnover of Rs.1.89 Crore achieved through trade of 71,918 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.263 per share.

Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.81% or 14 points and stood at Rs.305 per share. Preference Shares of Everest Bank (EBLCP) were today’s top loser after losing 9.28% or 66 points to stand at Rs.645 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.37 points and closed at 247.98 points while Float Index lost 0.09 points and closed at 83.88 points.

Banking, Development Banks, Hydropower, Finance and Manufacturing sectors lost points today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
