Unique Nepal Laghubitta Calls AGM on Poush 24; Dividend Announcement Takes Unforeseen Turn

Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) has called the 5th AGM on 24th Poush, 2080. The AGM will be held in the Hotel Central Plaza located at Kohalpur, starting at 10 AM that day.

Earlier the company, which had initially proposed a 20% dividend on its 79th meeting of the Board of Directors (BODs) held on Bhadra 30, has now disclosed in a recent notice that no dividend will be distributed for the aforementioned fiscal year. Investors, who were anticipating a 1% cash dividend and a 19% bonus share from the paid-up capital of Rs. 14.85 Crores based on the BODs' proposal, can a sense of betrayal in light of the revised announcement.
