Vision Lumbini Urja's Seti River Hydropower Project Starts Commercial Operation

Vision Lumbini Urja Company Limited (VLUC) has officially commenced the commercial operation of its 25 MW Seti River Hydropower Project.

After completing construction and obtaining approval from the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the project began commercial operations on Kartik 27, 2081, as decided by the Coordination Committee.

The NEA's approval of the commercial operation date (CoD) signifies a crucial step for the hydropower plant, which is now integrated into Nepal's electricity grid. The project is expected to significantly enhance the nation's energy capacity, providing a reliable power supply for domestic use and potential export opportunities.
