“If you’re in the luckiest one percent of humanity, you owe it to the rest of humanity to think about the 99 percent”, Warren E. Buffet, the king of investing, once famously challenged the extremely wealthy people in the world.

Following his own challenge Buffet is donating $3.6 billion to the philanthropic organization as 2019 gift. According to index tracked Forbes and Bloomberg, Buffet is one of the richest people in the world having net worth of more than $87 billion accord. The third richest in fact, just behind Joff Bezos and Bill Gates.

He has been donating since 2006. The value of his gift has totaled $34 Billion including 2019 gift. Buffet is giving his Berkshire’s shares worth $3.6 Billion to Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation, Sherwood Foundation, Howard G. Buffet Foundation and NoVo Foundation. Along with the king of investing, he is the most charitable person in the world

Buffet with other richest people launched the Giving Pledge in 2010, a vow taken by world’s richest person to donate their majority of wealth to Philanthropic Organization.

Buffet born August 30, 1930 is an American business magnate, investor, speaker and philanthropist who serves as the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. He is considered one of the most successful investors in the world. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late.

It’s odd to say this, but one of the world’s richest people may also be one of its biggest minimalists when you compare the lifestyle he could live to the one he chooses to live. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

"The HAPPIEST people DO NOT necessarily have the ‘BEST’ THINGS. They simply APPRECIATE the things they have”
