Wean Nepal Laghubitta (WNLB) Trading Resumes From Today

Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) are now freed for trading.

NEPSE had halted the trading of WNLB from Jestha 03 to Jestha 05. Earlier, the microfinance company had issued a decision regarding its shareholders registration book (book closure) from Jestha 03 to Jestha 20. The notice was sent to NEPSE via email on 30th Baisakh, since there was 4 days public holiday NEPSE published the notice on Jestha 03. But, as per the rules governed by SEBON, if the company wants to close its books, it must send a notice to NEPSE at least 7 days in advance of the book closing date.Thereby, the trading of WNLB was halted for 3 days.

However, NEPSE has now published a notice stating that the trading of Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) is resumed from today i.e 6th Jestha, 2079 and has also requested the company to convey its book closure date to NEPSE at least 7 days prior to the stated book closing date.
